... of my life in writing
Where does one start to put their life on a digital canvas. My name is Sam Chin, I was born in the tropics of Malaysia, in a small town called Sandakan. By the age of one my parents and I boarded a plane bound for Canada... lets now fast forward to moments in my young life that I remember!
I remember always being happy in my younger years, living in a good neighbourhood with a rag tag group of kids just like the little rascals. We were made up of about 7-8 kids on the block that would meet up after school, weekends and holidays at times to just shoot the breeze, ride bikes, terrorize the local foliage and insect population! Riding bikes was something that was taught to me at first by my father, But when I was younger my dad was working overtimes and graveyard shifts so his patience for me was at times limited. One of the older boys in the neighbourhood 'Ray' was like the leader of the group, he taught me to ride my bike well. Looking back the impact he had on me was huge and will in my opinion change my personality for years to come... I never got to thank 'Ray' and I have tried to find him, sadly after I moved from that neighbourhood I was 8 or 9 years old, by the time I was in my early 20's I was told his house had changed owners a few times.
